The Pomodoro technique: The simple, yet ingenious method of maintaining optimum focus on a single task. The technique was made in the 1980s when university student Francesco Cirillo used a tomato shaped egg timer to Just for the love of God focus on one thing for 10 minutes. This simple tactic proved highly effective. Francesco went on to write a 130-page book about the method.

It works by granting your brain laser sharp focus on just getting projects that needs to get done, done. No multitasking, the clock is watching. Every time you open another tab to check your twitter notifications, you will receive a helpful pang of guilt. The clock is still watching. The clock will reward you with a 5-minute break after 25 minutes. Don’t skip it! This time helps you recharge and jump back into effective work; but, remember the clock is always watching.
